I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Sherri Campbell as U. S. Etchells Class Secretary and Peter S. Duncan as U. S. Etchells Class Treasurer, effective November 1, 2017.
Sherri, working with and through One Design Management (ODM) will take on the Class’ administrative duties. ODM partners, Jerelyn Biehl and Sherri Campbell, are professional class managers, located in San Diego, California, USA. Many of you are already acquainted with ODM as the administrative office for the International Etchells Class Association since May 2007. In addition to working with the Etchells Class, ODM manages several of the top international One Design classes and we believe that the U. S. Etchells Class Association will benefit from ODM’s knowledge and experience.
Peter S. Duncan of Rye, New York, has graciously agreed to assume the role of U. S. Etchells Class Treasurer. As an active skipper and strong competitor from Etchells Fleet 1 – Western Long Island Sound for many years, Peter has campaigned his boat, Raging Rooster, attending many regional, national and world championships. His extensive Etchells Class experience and financial background, supported by One Design Management on a day-to-day basis, will place the Class in capable hands. Please extend a warm welcome to our new U. S. Etchells Class Officers.
